Name the next big thing in McKinleyville.

The land is purchased—now it’s time to name the community!

Life Plan Humboldt is building a not-for-profit community in McKinleyville’s Town Center for Humboldt folks 62+ who want to live with purpose, connection, and a plan for the future.

We are naming our first community and now we need your help.

With the purchase of the land completed, LPH is now one step closer to building a community of an estimated 101 cottages and apartments for active aging with walking trails, activities, dining, and independent living.

The perfect name will reflect the spirit of Humboldt County—its natural beauty, its creative energy and the vibrant community we’re building together. Submit your idea using the form below. If you have more than one idea, come back to enter more! Thank you for your help. We will announce the new name in mid-July.

In the Spotlight: A community taking root.

We’re honored to see Life Plan Humboldt taking root in the hearts of our community—and in the news. As the region’s first non-profit, resident-driven senior living community, we’re excited to share our journey as it unfolds.

This is just the beginning. As more milestones are reached, we’ll continue to share highlights, updates, and stories that reflect the spirit of Humboldt.
